Young Talents Shine at Birla Open Minds’ Rising Stars Carnival 2026

Birla Open Minds International School, Neelbad, hosted its much-loved Rising Stars Carnival on 6–7 June, turning the campus into a lively showcase of young talent. The two-day festival drew hundreds of students, parents and teachers for competitions across arts, sports, music and technology.

Events ranged from solo dance and singing to painting, collage making, paper craft and clay modelling. Hands-on challenges included LEGO building, storytelling and chess, while tech-minded students took part in a Rubik’s Cube Sprint and Scratch 3.0 game design. On the sports front, participants competed in basketball, futsal, lawn tennis and skating. Children across age groups performed before a panel of expert judges, receiving enthusiastic support from the audience.

Organizers said the carnival reflects the school’s focus on holistic development by giving students opportunities beyond the classroom to explore and express their strengths. Managing Director Nirvaan Birla commented, “Education goes beyond textbooks. Events like Rising Stars give children the confidence to explore their passions and grow into resilient, creative individuals.” Rakesh Malik, Chairman of Birla Open Minds International School Bhopal, also praised the students’ energy and effort.

The Rising Stars Carnival reinforced the school’s commitment to creating environments where every child can discover and celebrate their unique abilities.
