MAAC hosts Delhi AVGC-XR & AI Summit 2026 to sharpen India’s creative talent pipeline

Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity (MAAC) held its Delhi AVGC-XR & AI Summit 2026 on June 12 at the Constitution Club of India, Connaught Place. The event drew more than 600 students and creative tech enthusiasts from Delhi NCR and focused on practical, industry-aligned training for animation, VFX, gaming, comics, extended reality, and digital content creation.

Under the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Creators,” the summit explored how AI is reshaping creative workflows and what skills studios and brands now seek. The program mixed keynote talks, panel discussions, demonstrations, and student showcases to connect classroom learning with real-world studio expectations.

Dr. Kiran Bedi attended as special chief guest, and industry speakers included Abir Aich, Ashish Kulkarni, Sandip Weling, Prakhar Jain, Kunal Arora, Prashant Nair, and Gaurav Markan. Highlights included a behind-the-scenes preview on “Deadpool & Wolverine — The art of blood and guts” by Prashant Nair and Canon India’s session on how big brands hire creative talent.

MAAC used the summit to introduce two new learning pathways: Career X, which boosts industry readiness and placements, and Creator X, aimed at helping creators build multi-platform content ventures and entrepreneurial careers. Sandip Weling emphasized the institute’s focus on creative thinking, problem solving, and industry adaptability alongside technical training.

The day ended with a student recognition ceremony that showcased strong portfolios and success stories from MAAC alumni, giving attendees practical tips on portfolio curation and career navigation in a competitive market.
