Maruti’s Best-Selling SUV Shatters Records with 3 Lakh Sales in Just 2 Years!
Noida: India’s leading automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, introduced the Fronx SUV in April 2023, significantly expanding its portfolio and driving impressive sales figures. The Fronx has quickly gained traction in the market, achieving a remarkable milestone of over 3,00,000 units sold within just two years.
In the fiscal year 2024, Maruti Suzuki recorded sales of 1,34,735 units of the Fronx. This number saw a notable 23.36% year-on-year growth, reaching 1,66,216 units in FY25. In total, the Fronx has achieved cumulative sales of 3,00,951 units over this two-year period.
According to Maruti Suzuki, the Fronx holds the title of being the fastest car in India to cross the 1,00,000-unit sales mark within just 10 months, followed by 2,00,000 units in 17.3 months.
The Fronx is positioned in the competitive SUV segment, priced between ₹7,52,000 and ₹13,04,000 (ex-showroom). It directly rivals models such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros and Skoda Kushaq.
When it comes to fuel efficiency, the Fronx offers an impressive mileage range:

– 22.89 kmpl for the 1.2L AMT
– 21.5 kmpl for the 1.0L Manual Transmission
– 20.01 kmpl for the 1.0L Automatic Transmission
