Shikhar Dhawan Joins Amazon MX Player’s Battleground as Supermentor

Mumbai: The adrenaline-fueled fitness reality show Battleground on Amazon MX Player is gearing up for an electrifying season with a major announcement—Indian cricket star Shikhar Dhawan, fondly known as “Gabbar,” has been named the Supermentor. With his competitive spirit, unwavering determination, and high-energy approach, Dhawan will guide contestants through an intense journey of endurance, strength, and resilience.
In this challenging reality showdown, 16 participants will push their physical and mental limits over 28 days, facing rigorous tests of skill, strategy, and survival. They will be divided into four teams—Mumbai Strikers, Haryana Bulls, Delhi Dominators, and UP Dabangs—and mentored by top fitness and lifestyle experts within the Battleground House. With Dhawan at the helm, anticipation is at an all-time high as fans eagerly await the reveal of the team mentors.
Sharing his excitement, Shikhar Dhawan said, “True strength goes beyond physical fitness—it’s about mental toughness, perseverance, and the will to succeed. Battleground embodies these qualities, and I’m thrilled to mentor these determined individuals as they take on this life-changing challenge. This is going to be an intense battle!”
