Lock Upp 2 Drama: Did Shilpa Shinde Just Say Akanksha Chamola Is Only Famous Because of Her Husband?
The drama inside Lock Upp 2 just reached a whole new level. Reality TV veteran Shilpa Shinde recently entered the jail as a wildcard contestant, and she wasted absolutely no time stirring the pot. While some cellmates tried to give her a warm welcome, the Bigg Boss 11 winner quickly started taking shots at her co-contestants’ personal lives, and her latest target is Akanksha Chamola.
During a chat with Madhuri Jain and Shreya Kalra, Shilpa openly questioned Akanksha’s credentials. She claimed that Akanksha only managed to land a spot on the reality show because of her famous husband, television actor Gaurav Khanna. Shilpa didn’t hold back, admitting she told others she had never even seen Akanksha before the show.
How Akanksha Reacted to the Dig
Word travels fast in the jail. Contestant Sufi Motiwala immediately went to Akanksha to fill her in on what Shilpa was saying behind her back.
Instead of blowing up or throwing a tantrum, Akanksha took a surprisingly calm approach. She simply smiled, took note of the hostility, and moved on. However, by the next morning, the tension was palpable. Akanksha admitted to her fellow inmates that Shilpa clearly has an issue with her, noting that if she decides to pick a fight with anyone in the house, it will definitely be Shilpa.
Secrets and Separation in the Jail
This isn’t the first time Akanksha has been at the center of attention on the show. She recently shocked viewers by revealing that she and Gaurav Khanna are currently going through a divorce due to compatibility issues. The couple tied the knot back in 2016, and Gaurav has not yet made any public comments regarding the split.
To make things more intense, Akanksha’s private life became public property when co-contestant Shreya Kalra exposed another one of her secrets to save herself from elimination. Shreya revealed that Akanksha was bisexual before her marriage. Akanksha was deeply disappointed by the betrayal, clarifying that she hadn’t even confided in Shreya; instead, Shreya had simply overheard the information and used it as leverage.
Shilpa Shinde is Spreading the Fire
Akanksha isn’t the only one dealing with Shilpa’s confrontational attitude. The wildcard entry also tried to start a feud with Sunita Ahuja by questioning her past remarks about her husband, Govinda.
Sunita, however, was not in the mood for games. She immediately shut Shilpa down, warning her to mind her own business and keep her mouth shut until she experiences the same situation herself.
With Shilpa actively trying to rattle everyone in the house, the power dynamics in Lock Upp 2 are shifting fast. Akanksha is holding her ground for now, but it is only a matter of time before these simmering tensions boil over into a full-blown confrontation.
