Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 Winners REVEALED: Jaideep Ahlawat, Vikrant Massey, Sanya Malhotra Shine Big as Top Shows Dominate the Night
Filmfare hosted the Filmfare OTT Awards 2025, co-powered by Hyundai and Blenders Pride Packaged Drinking Water, at JW Marriott, Juhu, celebrating the best of India’s digital entertainment boom. The night brought together leading actors, creators, and filmmakers to honour outstanding web series and films released between August 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025.
Among the biggest winners, Black Warrant clinched Best Series, while Girls Will Be Girls won Best Film (Web Original). In the comedy category, Raat Jawaan Hai emerged as Best Comedy (Series/Special), underlining the growing range and quality of storytelling on streaming platforms.

In terms of overall dominance, Khauf led the night with 7 awards. Stolen and Black Warrant followed closely with 6 awards each, while Paatal Lok Season 2 secured 5 wins. Girls Will Be Girls picked up 4 awards, Sector 36 and CTRL won 3 each, and Freedom at Midnight along with IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack took home 2 awards apiece.
The evening also saw major individual honours, with Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Vikrant Massey, Ananya Panday and Boman Irani receiving the iconic Black Lady. Technical excellence was recognised with awards for talents such as Pankaj Kumar, Tanya Chhabria, and Bigyna Dahal, reflecting the depth of craft behind India’s OTT success.

Several moments stood out beyond the trophies. Abhishek Bachchan won hearts by bringing a chair from the audience for Boman Irani and recording his acceptance speech on his phone, leading to an emotional address by Irani on belief, storytelling, and cinema’s power to heal. Jaideep Ahlawat moved the audience with a tribute to his late father, while Abhishek Banerjee spoke about his long-standing faith in the film Stolen and his admiration for Amitabh Bachchan.
Ananya Panday used her moment to speak about women owning their choices and individuality, while Vikrant Massey dedicated his win to voices from socio-economic margins, reaffirming his commitment to meaningful stories. The night also marked first Filmfare wins for Fatima Sana Shaikh for Ayesha and Rasika Dugal for Shekhar Home, adding to the emotional highs of the ceremony.

The red carpet saw a strong turnout from across the industry, including Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Pratibha Ranta, Richa Chadha, Zoya Akhtar, Alaya F, Divya Dutta, Sonali Kulkarni, and many others, bringing glamour to an already buzzing celebration.

Winners were selected by a respected jury featuring filmmakers and writers such as Hansal Mehta, Shoojit Sircar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Anvita Dutt, Amit Masurkar, Juhi Chaturvedi, Suresh Triveni, and Vishnuvardhan, among others.

The event also continued the Filmfare Short Film Awards 2025, recognising standout short-format stories like Divorce, Ayesha, and Langur, along with individual honours for Renuka Shahane and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Hosted across two lively segments by Amol Parashar and Sayani Gupta, the evening captured the momentum, ambition, and creative confidence of India’s OTT revolution.
