Gaurav Khanna Breaks Silence on Ex Akanksha Chamola’s Bisexuality Revelation on Lock Upp 2
The drama inside the Lock Upp 2 house just got incredibly personal. Television star Gaurav Khanna recently entered the reality show to confront his estranged wife, Akanksha Chamola, following her bombshell revelations about their marriage, impending divorce, and her sexuality.
In a newly released promo by Netflix, host Farah Khan put Gaurav on the spot regarding Akanksha’s second major secret on the show: her revelation that she is bisexual and has been in same-sex relationships in the past.
Gaurav’s Gracious Response to the Bombshell
When Farah asked Gaurav if he was already aware of Akanksha’s sexuality, Akanksha chimed in to confirm that he knew all along. Gaurav handled the question with striking maturity.
“I have always said that if you like someone, you should do so wholeheartedly,” Gaurav explained. “I have always been that guy in my life.”
Akanksha praised his reaction, noting that Gaurav has always been open-minded, understood her feelings, and accepted her identity graciously.

A Bitter Split? Not Quite
This confrontation follows an emotional reunion during the show’s visiting hours. Upon walking into the jail area, Gaurav jokingly told Akanksha, “You have really shaken things up,” which left her visibly emotional.
Despite the heavy revelations, both actors maintain that there is no bad blood between them. On the premiere episode, Akanksha clarified that their one-year separation and upcoming divorce are completely amicable.
According to Akanksha, the split boils down to wanting different things from life. She revealed that while Gaurav previously expressed a strong desire to have children, she does not feel maternal and prefers to lead a single life moving forward.
“Unlucky in Love”
Despite the mutual respect between the former couple, Akanksha admitted to housemates Varun Yadav and Pamela Serena that she feels cursed when it comes to romance. She recalled a friend telling her she would always be unlucky in love, a sentiment she says she has sadly come to accept.
Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, streams from Saturday to Thursday at 8 PM on Netflix. With 14 inmates fighting for survival over six weeks, the emotional stakes are clearly higher than ever.
