RCB Youngster Shocks Everyone by Sneaking Into Virat Kohli’s Bag – You Won’t Believe What He Did!

Noida: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) kicked off their IPL 2025 campaign in style, securing a dominant win over defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the season opener. Having been one of the four teams to reach the playoffs last season, RCB delivered a clinical performance, successfully chasing down KKR’s 175-run target in just 16.2 overs to win by seven wickets. With a six-day break before their next match, the players had time to relax and celebrate. During this downtime, a lighthearted moment involving a young team member caught everyone’s attention.
Swastik Chikara’s Playful Act
Swastik Chikara, acquired by RCB for his base price of ₹30 lakh, pulled off a bold yet humorous stunt—one that no one saw coming. The 19-year-old opened Virat Kohli’s kit bag, grabbed his perfume, and sprayed it on himself without asking, leaving the entire dressing room in laughter.
Recalling the incident, Yash Dayal shared:
“After our game in Kolkata, we were sitting in the dressing room when he casually walked up, took out Virat bhai’s perfume, and used it without permission. Everyone just burst into laughter. He acted like nothing had happened!”
Even RCB captain Rajat Patidar was surprised:
“Virat bhai was right there, and I was just thinking, ‘What is this guy doing?’”
Chikara, however, had a witty explanation:
“He’s like an elder brother, right? I was just checking to make sure he doesn’t use a bad one. So, I tried it first. He even asked how it was, and I told him it smelled good. Just looking out for him!”

Virat Kohli – A Guiding Figure
Back in 2008, when the IPL first started, Kohli was an 18-year-old up-and-comer. Fast forward to 2025, and he has become a legendary figure in cricket. Despite his stature, Kohli remains humble and always encourages young players, whether they are teammates or opponents. A great example of this was during his recent Ranji Trophy return, where he was dismissed by young Haryana pacer Himanshu Sangwan. Instead of being upset, Kohli sportingly signed the ball for the youngster, showcasing his sportsmanship.
His performance in IPL 2025 has also been exceptional so far. Carrying forward his form from last season—where he won the Orange Cap with 741 runs—Kohli began the tournament with a fluent 59* off 36 balls against KKR, striking four boundaries and three sixes.
Chikara’s Cricketing Journey
While Chikara is making waves off the field, his professional cricket experience remains limited. He has played only two First-Class matches, six List-A games, and four T20s for Uttar Pradesh. His recent outing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was disappointing, with scores of 5, 0, 7, and 3 in four innings. Before that, he recorded 41 and 12 against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy and 21 against Haryana.
As IPL 2025 progresses, Chikara will look to make an impact on the field while RCB aims to maintain its winning streak.
