Mumbai: The Royal Western India Turf Club played host to The Poonawalla Breeders’ Multi Million on Sunday, 24th February, 2019. MISSING YOU, jockeyed by David Allan, owned by Dr Cyrus S. Poonawalla, Mr Adar C. Poonawalla & Mrs Natasha A. Poonawalla rep. Villoo Poonawalla Racing & Breeding Pvt Ltd and trained by Dallas Todywalla took home the Poonawalla Breeders’ Multi-Million Trophy.
Out of the five Classic races hosted at the Club, PBMM, often called the Juvenile Derby witnessed an evening carnival packed with excitement, music, food, entertainment, fashion and fun. Delna Poonawalla flaunted her beautiful designs on models and received a wave of compliments for her work. The PBMM race day announced the winners for the best dressed lady – Priyali Mahatani, best hat – Barbara E Sehgal, and best dressed gentleman – Shakir Chunawalla at the racecourse.
Often called the Juvenile Derby four lucky winners walked away with prizes from Free Contest of Skill. S.B. Nagotkar won a brand new Honda Amaze, Hardik Shah won a scooter, Bharat Patel won an LED TV, and Naseem Ansari won a laptop.
