Comedian Samay Raina just dropped his new special, Still Alive, and he’s not holding back on the India’s Got Latent mess. He fires off hilarious jabs at critics like Sunil Pal, B Praak, and Mukesh Khanna while standing up for his no-filter comedy style.
Samay gets real about why he can’t go “clean.” He shares a story from his Kaun Banega Crorepati days to show how forcing a polite persona feels fake. “Playing a clean character is unnatural for me,” he basically says. He ties it to the backlash over India’s Got Latent, especially with Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) catching heat. “A clean guy can’t suddenly turn rogue online,” Samay quips. He compares it to a vegetarian choking on meat—people just don’t buy the switch.
Diving into the fallout, Samay says an FIR hit Ranveer for ditching his wholesome image.
