Saiyaara OTT Release: Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda’s Romantic Blockbuster Gets Netflix Premiere Date

After a smashing run at the box office, romantic drama Saiyaara — starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda — is now all set for its OTT debut. The film, celebrated for its fresh chemistry, emotional depth, and captivating music, will soon be available for streaming.

As per Yash Raj Films’ casting director Shanoo Sharma, Saiyaara is slated to premiere on Netflix on September 12, 2025. Sharma confirmed the news by resharing a social media post revealing the release date. While YRF has not issued an official statement, fans are counting down the days to watch the crowd-favourite online.

Box Office Triumph

Since its theatrical release, Saiyaara has emerged as a blockbuster, collecting nearly ₹517 crore worldwide — ₹373 crore from the Indian market and about ₹144 crore from overseas. Its strong run continues despite competition from big releases like Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Dhadak 2 starring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

The film’s heartfelt storytelling, penned by Rohan Shankar and Sankalp Sadanah, is backed by power-packed performances from its lead duo and an ensemble cast including Geeta Agrawal Sharma, Sid Makkar, Shaad Randhawa, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola.

Ahaan Panday’s Intensive Preparation

In an exclusive with The Hollywood Reporter India, Shanoo Sharma revealed that Ahaan Panday underwent three years of rigorous acting training, involving workshops, improvisations, and method exercises. During the pandemic, he also worked as an Assistant Director on YRF’s The Railway Men, honing his craft before his grand debut.

The Story of Saiyaara

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara follows the journey of Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a passionate musician, and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), an ambitious journalist. Against the backdrop of a bustling city where love and ambition collide, the film delves into the complexities of relationships, dreams, and self-discovery.
