Mumbai: Here comes a big announcement from stunning and talented actress Parineeti Chopra, she has just confirmed her next outing, which is an official remake of mystery-thriller The Girl On The Train, though the film is not titled yet but confirmation and deeds are out!
The untitled official remake will start rolling in 2019 in United Kingdom, the film will be helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta and the film is bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment, slated for 2020 release.
Parineeti Chopra just took to her social media profile and confirmed the film. She wrote, “Hopping onto this thrilling ride! Excited to be a part of #TheGirlOnTheTrain’s official Hindi remake. @ribhudasgupta @RelianceEnt @amblin #DreamWorksPictures #TheGirlOnTheTrain”
The Girl on the Train is a 2016 American mystery thriller drama film directed by Tate Taylor and written by Erin Cressida Wilson, based on Paula Hawkins’ 2015 debut novel of the same name. The film follows an alcoholic divorcée who becomes involved in a missing person’s investigation.
Apart from the official remake film, actress Parineeti Chopra is also busy with some big releases, such as Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Jabariya Jodi, Saina and Bhuj: The Pride of India.
Jabariya Jodi is an upcoming romantic comedy film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra. The film is based upon the tradition of groom kidnapping, prevalent in Bihar. The film is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Shailesh. R. Singh and is directed by Prashant Singh.
