Kriti Sanon Admits “Very Strict” Diet on Cocktail 2 Set – “I Was Constantly Cranky and Hungry”
Kriti Sanon says she followed a “very strict” diet while filming Cocktail 2, and it wasn’t easy. At the trailer launch, the actress—who plays Ally in the Homi Adajania-directed sequel—revealed that the regime left her “extremely cranky and hungry,” especially because the shoot took place in Italy, a country famous for its food.
Kriti called it one of the toughest diets of her life and joked that co-star Shahid can vouch for how hungry she was on set. Despite the challenges, she says the effort paid off: fans are already connecting with Ally, and Kriti is pleased with the response to the film’s tone and visuals.
Describing what drew her to Cocktail 2, Kriti said the film feels stylish and visually fresh while staying relatable. She praised its messy, warm relationships and the music, which she says elevates the whole experience. The trailer, released Tuesday, hints at a modern emotional ride set against a sun-soaked backdrop, blending friendship, love, and heartbreak.
