Mumbai: The entire Bollywood brigade welcomes back veteran actor Irrfan Khan, who was lying low for months following neuroendocrine tumour diagnosis and treatment. The actor took to his social media profile and expressed his gratitude to those who gave him love and support to help him get through his tough phase.
In an emotional note posted on his social media account on Wednesday, Irrfan shared his thoughts on the prayers, blessings and love he received while he was fighting the ailment in London.
He wrote, “Maybe somewhere in pursuit of winning, we forgot how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support; it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heat”
B-Town was quick to welcome back the quirky actor, celebrities like Swara Bhasker, Hansal Mehta and Randeep Hooda among many others welcomed Irrfan.
Hansal Mehta tweted, “We love you Irrfan! So happy to see you back”
Swara Bhasker also expressed her joy, she wrote, “Welcome back Irrfan sir! Wish you health and happiness.. you are our inspiration”
Actor Randeep Hooda wrote, “Welcome back brother”
There has been a buzz that Irrfan will soon start shooting for the sequel to his 2017 film “Hindi Medium”, opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in London.
