At 14, Saanvi Rai Decodes the Hidden Psychology of Human Influence in Her New Book
At just 14, Saanvi Rai is delving into the unseen forces that guide human choices. The young author and Grade 9 student of Birla Open Minds International School, Danapur, has released her second book, The Hidden Language of Influence — a fascinating exploration of how subtle signals shape trust, persuasion, and decision-making.
Following the success of her debut, Power: Beginner Guide to Recognition and Resistance, Saanvi’s latest work goes deeper into the psychology of influence. The book focuses on non-verbal cues — tone, pauses, gestures, silence, and unspoken meaning — revealing how these often-overlooked behaviors impact everyday interactions.
Unlike typical discussions of persuasion that lean toward manipulation, The Hidden Language of Influence promotes awareness. It encourages readers, especially young minds, to understand and identify the invisible patterns that affect their choices. Saanvi explains, “I’ve always been curious about why people behave the way they do. Writing this book made me realize how much influence happens silently — and I wanted to help readers see that too.”
Principal Paljinder Pal Singh praised her achievement, stating, “Saanvi’s second book at such a young age reflects extraordinary maturity and intellectual curiosity. Her voice represents a new generation engaging deeply with complex ideas.”
With two published books before turning 15, Saanvi Rai’s journey proves that insight and expression know no age. The Hidden Language of Influence invites readers to listen beyond words — to the pauses, gestures, and silences that quietly shape how we connect and decide.
