Dehradun’s U-16 Cricket Fever Peaks as Birla Open Minds International School Hosts Thrilling T20 Finals
The Birla Open Minds International School Cricket Ground buzzed with excitement as the curtain dropped on the action-packed U-16 T20 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, held from November 15 to 21. Over seven days, ten schools clashed in intense knockout rounds showcasing skill, teamwork and pure sporting spirit.
The grand finale kept the crowd roaring as the two top teams battled in a nail-biting contest for the championship. With stunning boundaries, sharp fielding, and fiery bowling spells, the young cricketers delivered a spectacle of passion and promise.
The winning team walked away with the championship trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 21,000, while the runners-up celebrated their strong showing with Rs. 11,000. Recognizing individual excellence, titles such as Man of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder were awarded, alongside Man of the Match honors in every game. Every participant received a certificate, symbolizing their dedication and talent.
