WeSchool and LfB Partner to Redefine Leadership for the Future

Mumbai: S. P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Lead from the Back (LfB) team to promote a new vision of leadership inspired by Ravi Kant, former CEO and Vice Chairman of Tata Motors.
The collaboration was formalized through a signing ceremony at WeSchool’s Mumbai campus, attended by senior leadership and their teams. The agreement aims to integrate the LfB philosophy—rooted in Kant’s acclaimed book—into education, research, and professional learning.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director of WeSchool, stressed the value of purpose-driven leadership and emphasized that this partnership reflects the institute’s belief in nurturing leaders who create lasting impact for organizations and society.
Mr. Ravi Kant addressed faculty and students, highlighting how the Lead from the Back approach enables individuals to empower teams and achieve extraordinary outcomes. He expressed confidence that the initiative will strengthen leadership practices in organizations, institutions, and among professionals.
The agreement outlines initiatives such as leadership workshops, curated faculty and student sessions, custom programs, research collaborations, and integration of LfB insights into WeSchool’s academic curriculum.
This partnership represents a transformative milestone in leadership education, preparing a new generation of leaders to embrace the Lead from the Back philosophy and build powerful, high-achieving teams.
