Reliance Retail Acquires Priyanka Chopra Jonas Stake in Anomaly – Global Growth Unlocked
Reliance Retail just made a big move by snapping up Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s haircare brand Anomaly. Announced today from Mumbai on April 30, 2026, the deal includes the brand’s trademarks, digital assets, and everything else needed to supercharge growth in India and worldwide.
Anomaly launched in 2021 as a clean, vegan haircare line that’s high-performing yet affordable. It quickly built a solid fanbase across global markets. Now under Reliance Retail’s wing, the brand gets full access to their huge retail network and platforms like Tira for omnichannel sales.
This fits perfectly with Reliance’s push into the booming beauty and personal care space. They’ll blend their offline stores with online power to make Anomaly easier for more people to grab.

Isha Ambani, Executive Director at Reliance Retail Ventures, shared her excitement: “Anomaly brings a fresh, global vibe with clean ingredients and smart pricing. We’re thrilled to team up with Priyanka, use our retail reach and customer know-how to grow it big in India, and keep expanding abroad.”
The focus starts at home, with new innovations for Indian hair and scalp types. Expect better products tailored locally, plus continued push into places like North America, the UK, and the Middle East.
Priyanka stays on board as Creative Director, steering the brand’s vision and new launches. She said: “Anomaly started as my personal project and turned into something global. Partnering with Reliance Retail opens doors we couldn’t reach alone. I love working with Isha—her leadership is top-notch. I’ll keep shaping the brand to stay true to its roots while innovating.”
This acquisition shows Reliance Retail’s knack for spotting and scaling hot consumer brands, mixing star power with their market muscle for the next growth phase.
