TOIFA 2025 Returns to Mumbai: India’s Biggest Film & OTT Awards on December 1
The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) 2025 will be held in Mumbai on December 1, presented by M3M India. The grand event will unite Hindi cinema and digital entertainment under the banners TOIFA Theatrical Edition and TOIFA-OTT, celebrating creative brilliance across films, web series, and digital originals released in 2024.
Fans can take part in the celebration through the People’s Choice Voting Awards, giving them a chance to pick their favorite stars and creators who will take the stage at the prestigious ceremony.
The Advisory Council featuring prominent industry names such as Siddharth Roy Kapur, Guneet Monga Kapoor, Nikkhil Advani, Shoojit Sircar, Rajkumar Hirani, Sonu Nigam, Raveena Tandon, Kabir Khan and Ajay-Atul will guide the event’s vision.
TOIFA 2025 introduces India’s first multi-layered selection process backed by members from leading industry organizations like IFTPC, IMPPA, IPRS, and IFTDA, ensuring transparency and integrity in recognition.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivakumar Sundaram, CEO of The Times of India, said the new chapter of TOIFA expands its canvas by honoring both OTT and theatrical excellence, celebrating India’s diverse storytelling talent.
Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur lauded TOIFA’s unbiased approach and its effort to celebrate every filmmaking discipline, while Sonu Nigam expressed excitement for an awards show that truly reflects the year’s finest work.
Oscar-winner Guneet Monga Kapoor praised TOIFA for its democratic and trustworthy selection process that motivates creativity and champions authentic storytelling.
This year, TOIFA will also introduce three special awards to honor women in cinema — Visionary Woman of the Year, Powerful Voice in Cinema, and Champions of Change — celebrating their fearless vision and contribution to Indian filmmaking.
TOIFA 2025 stands as a tribute to India’s storytellers, recognizing passion, innovation, and the magic of cinema in all its forms.
