Saloni Daini and Radhika Guglani Explore Mumbai Life in New Instagram Comedy Series ‘BOM COM’
Moving to Mumbai usually comes with big dreams that quickly meet the reality of packed locals, tiny flats, and unspoken social codes. Actor Saloni Daini and digital creator Radhika Guglani are tapping into that exact transition with their new Instagram mockumentary series, BOM COM.
The 10-episode micro-series follows two close friends who leave Indore to build a life in Mumbai. Instead of the polished version of the city seen in Bollywood movies, they face everyday local quirks, awkward encounters, and the learning curve that comes with settling into a fast-paced metropolis.

Shot in a direct-to-camera mockumentary style, the short-form episodes lean on the natural banter between the two leads. Daini plays the friend who knows how to work around the city’s chaos, while Guglani plays the newcomer trying to process it all in real time.
The project also marks Daini’s debut as a producer.
“BOM COM is my first project as a producer, and I’ve honestly had the best time making it,” Daini shared. “If you’re from Bombay or planning to move here, BOM COM is the perfect little series to get to know the city, fall in love with it, and have some fun along the way.”

For Guglani, the storyline mirrored her own move to the city.
“I came to Mumbai with dreams, excitement and a little uncertainty, just like our characters,” Guglani said. “It wasn’t always easy, but through the struggles and challenges, I slowly fell in love with the city. What was once unfamiliar eventually felt like home.”

The first three episodes are currently live on Instagram. The remaining episodes will drop every alternate day through the end of August.
