Kusha Kapila Slams Pranit More After Himanshu Jangra’s Controversial Rs 370 Biryani Remark
Web developer Himanshu Jangra is facing heavy backlash after a clip from comedian and former Bigg Boss contestant Pranit More’s show went viral. In the excerpt, Jangra said that after paying Rs 370 for chicken biryani for a woman, he expected “a return” in kind. When the woman asked him to drop her home, he reportedly replied, “Maine kaha ki Rs 370 lage hain to use to wasool to karunga hi,” a comment that many called misogynistic and offensive.
The remarks sparked widespread criticism online. Jangra later apologised, deactivated his social accounts, and was reportedly let go by his Gurugram-based employer.
Influencer and actress Kusha Kapila responded on Instagram, arguing that responsibility extends beyond the speaker. She pointed out that editors and creators who clip and share such moments also share responsibility for the views those clips promote. “Agar aap un views ko badhava de rahe hain, shabashi de rahe hain, to wo to aapke bhi views hain,” she said, adding that creators should call out harmful behaviour instead of amplifying it.

Kusha noted that creators must actively discourage sexist attitudes among their audiences. “Agar aap apni audience ko call out nahin kar rahe hain…agar aapke content se audience ko ladkiyon ke baare mein bakwaas karne ko prerit ho rahe hain, to aapki bhi utni responsibility hai,” she argued.
This is not new ground for Kusha. In 2024 she criticised comedian Samay Raina for jokes about her divorce, saying the experience felt dehumanising and calling participation in that roast a “rookie mistake.”
