Aamir Khan to Tie the Knot with Gauri Spratt in Intimate July 5 Ceremony
Aamir Khan will marry Gauri Spratt in a private registered ceremony at his home on July 5, sources confirm. The 59-year-old actor and Gauri, 47, have chosen a quiet celebration with only family and a few close friends in attendance.
Insiders say the couple decided recently to formalize their relationship and wanted the event to be low-key. Preparations are under way for a small gathering at Aamir’s residence; there are no plans for a public celebration.
Gauri has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from a previous marriage. Her grandfather, Philip Spratt, was a British-born Communist who moved to India in the 1920s and later took part in the freedom movement.
Friends and family have reportedly given their support as the couple enters this new chapter. Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira, and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao, with whom he has a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran announced their divorce in 2021.
The registered marriage and a close family gathering on July 5 will mark the start of their life together.
