WeSchool Opens Admissions for India’s Unique PG Program in Temple Management

Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, has opened admissions for the second batch of its pioneering Post Graduate Program in Temple Management (PGPTM), beginning September 2025.

The launch comes after the successful graduation of the inaugural batch earlier this year, marking a milestone in professionalizing temple administration through management education in India.

Developed in association with Temple Connect, the PGPTM is the country’s first program dedicated to combining modern management practices with the spiritual, cultural and community role of temples.

The curriculum covers community management, heritage conservation, spiritual economy, and operational excellence, supplemented with experiential learning through temple visits and expert sessions. Alumni from the first batch include professionals linked with ISKCON Chowpatty, Rishikesh, Jivdani Devi Temple alongside corporate backgrounds. With growing interest nationwide, admissions are expected to triple this year to a total intake of 60 students.

Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool, stated: “The first PGPTM batch proved our commitment to designing progressive management programs for evolving societal needs. By blending India’s spiritual heritage with modern management, PGPTM equips professionals to drive impact in temple administration, cultural stewardship and nation-building.”

With temples emerging as vital centers of spirituality, heritage and social engagement, PGPTM is positioned as a transformative program nurturing future-ready leaders who will strengthen cultural preservation while ensuring seamless experiences for devotees.

Admissions for September 2025 are now open.
