Mumbai: Anil Kapoor says a handwritten note by Atal Bihari Vajpayee has become one of his most prized possessions.
The veteran actor shared a snapshot of the note on social media and wrote. “This piece of paper has now become one of my most prized possessions…For such a great man to be so humble and to touch so many lives with his warmth, is the most incredible legacy he is leaving behind… Thank u for everything #AtalBehariVajpayee ji!”
The shared note reads, “Congratulations to dear Anil Kapoor for his success.” The note was signed by the former Prime Minister on 21.6.98.
Anil Kapoor was last seen in the musical drama ‘Fanney Khan’ with Rajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai which did not impress the audience much.
He will be next seen in multi starrer comedy ‘Total Dhamaal’ directed by Indra Kumar. The film will bring back Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene after almost two decades. Total Dhamaal will also star Ajay Devgn as the lead role in the film along with Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaaferi, Ashish Chowdhry among others.
Anil has also joined the cast of Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’ with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor among others.
Takht is scheduled for a 2020 release and Total Dhamaal is scheduled for Dec 2018.
