Mumbai: After Aamir Khan walking out of Mogul due to #MeToo Movement, now superstar Akshay Kumar suspends the shooting of Housefull 4 due to the allegation on filmmaker Sajid Khan.
In the wake of #MeToo Movement, Filmmaker Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviour by three different women’s from media, Saloni Chopra, Karishma Upadhyay and Rachel White.
Now superstar Akshay Kumar, who has been shooting for Housefull 4, which is directed by Sajid Khan, has suspended the shooting of the film until the whole issue has been cleared.
Actor Akshay Kumar just issues a statement on social media. It read, “I’ve just landed back in the country last night and reading all the news has been very disturbing. I’ve requested the producers of Housefull 4 to cancel the shoot until further investigation. This is something that requires stringent action. I will not work with any proven offenders and all those who has been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve”

Housefull 4 is an upcoming comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is the fourth instalment of the Housefull series, and the third to be directed by Khan who also directed the first two instalments.
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Sharad Kelkar, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Chunky Pandey, Nana Patekar, Boman Irani and Johnny Lever.
Interestingly, apart from Sajid Khan, actor Nana Patekar of Housefull 4 is also accused in sexual harassment case by Tanushree Datta.
