Mumbai: ‘Kalank’ co-star Alia Bhatt wished Madhuri on her birthday in a tweet on Tuesday.

Karan Johar’s multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ has been in the buzz since its announcement. Alia and Madhuri will be seen dancing together and a teacher and student duo. Madhuri will also reunite with Sanjay Dutt in the Dharma production project.

‘Kalank’ is directed by Abhishek Varman and features a cast including Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt, along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, as well as Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
The film is rumored to be a drama, set in the 1940s. Reportedly, Sridevi was supposed to feature in the film, but after her untimely demise, Madhuri was roped in for the role. The film is slated to release in April next year.
