Excited about the release producer Rashmin Majithia said, “This film deals with all the aspects of a SSC board student. The day I read the script, I was sure I’m making this film. Primarily because it deals with a common issue every boy faces in his teenage life and a mother’s take on her son’s life. The message has been put across in a very subtle way, and I think that’s incredible.
Talking about her role in the film Supriya Pathak Kapur said “I play an ambitious mother and I absolutely loved the character of Daksha Modi. I’ve been through this phase where I had to maintain a balance between being a friend to my children and a task master with certain expectations from them. I was so engrossed in the character that after a certain point I started treating Laalu as my real son”.
Film’s Music Director Duo Sachin – Jigar said, “ We’ve put our heart and soul in this film. We’re happy people appreciated our efforts. It’s a complete album and opportunity like this is very rare. Every song is different and is based on different emotions”.
Director of the film Vipul Mehta said, “This film will definitely make you nostalgic and take you down the memory lane. It has varied flavors of innocence, first love, mother’s care and grandfather’s unending bond with his grandchild. And we all have experienced these flavors in our lives. Everyone in the film have done a fabulous job”.
